Collier District 5, GOP nomination

It’s an easy choice in the Republican primary for the only Collier board seat up for voter review this year. Jim Coletta has been an outstanding public servant for the past eight years for the sprawling district that includes Golden Gate Estates, Immokalee and Everglades City. He is a friend to business and the underprivileged. He beats the drum for better roads, and gets results. He leads the fight for better drainage as well as sensible flood insurance maps that save constituents money.
